Description
Here’s a collection of coloured pencil drawings which I think contain my most challenging, but also most impressive tutorials. They’re all reasonably long so they do require some patience, but are well worth it when you see the finished result!
To be honest, a lot of these drawings are my favourites and they’re of a wide variety of subjects. Included is an ice cream sundae which will really show how to see colours and particularly show you how to draw white objects. There’s also a bonsai tree which focuses on drawing what you see (there’s a huge amount of texture in the leaves). Plus I draw a Starbucks cup which really requires a lot of attention to detail. Getting the logo right is the key to this drawing.
- Really in-depth instructions
- Plus all of the real time footage
- Reference photos
- Heavy sketch outlines (easier for tracing)
- Light sketch outlines (Perfect if you want to print onto your drawing paper)
- Details of all the materials used in each tutorial
Below are details of all the courses and tutorials included in this collection:

Ice Cream Sundae with Prismacolor
This is one of my favourite drawings that I’ve ever created! This ice cream sundae has so many complicated looking areas, from the white cream to the richer yellow coloured ice cream, plus the slightly different affect of the glass bowl underneath. Although it may seem complicated, actually with this tutorial I break it down into sections, and as always everything is built up gradually.

Bonsai Tree with Polychromos
This bonsai tree is such an interesting drawing with a huge amount of detail – a real challenge if you’re up for it! It’s a bit cheesy, but I always say ‘trust the process’. It’s especially true with big projects like this one. It takes time for this to start taking shape with all the leaf textures. Don’t doubt yourself, keep going and I promise it comes together.

Coffee Cup With Polychromos
This coffee has so much detail and texture in the cream and the coffee, but the logo is the part which really brings it together. The key is in taking your time to get the logo right. I think any time you’re drawing a recognisable brand it’s obvious if everything isn’t perfectly in the right place.

Cherry Blossom with Polychromos
These flowers might seem tricky as they’re white, but remember that we should draw what we actually see and these flowers aren’t truly white. Focus on finding the blends of greys and pinks and they will look great.
