Where can I find the materials used in each tutorial?

The specific colours and materials I use are listed in the description at the top of each tutorial page. I also include colour swatches in the resources section so you can match them easily. Do I need to use the exact same pencils and materials shown in the tutorial?

No, any brand of coloured pencil can be substituted. The most important thing is to find the closest available colour match to the one I'm using. The process and techniques are the same regardless of which brand you use. If you're following a watercolour pencil tutorial using regular coloured pencils, the main difference is that watercolour pencils become more vibrant when activated with water. To compensate, build up your coloured pencils gradually through each chapter until you reach a similar depth of colour.

Where do I find the sketch outlines, reference photos, and colour swatches?

These are all included in the resources section for each tutorial. On a computer or tablet in landscape mode, you'll see a Resources tab on the left side of the page. On mobile or portrait mode, tap the three lines in the top right corner and select Resources.

Where can I see a list of all tutorials?

You can browse all of the tutorials available on the website from the Courses page. To see only the tutorials included in your membership, click here.

My country isn't available on the website, can I still join?

The website is currently only available to members in the UK, EU, USA, Australia, and New Zealand due to tax and payment regulations. If your country isn't listed, you can still access all of my tutorials through Patreon instead, which supports most countries and currencies and has exactly the same content: https://www.patreon.com/c/gemmachambersart

Does my membership work on both the website and Patreon?

No, the website and Patreon are completely separate platforms with separate memberships. A Patreon membership doesn't give access to the website, and a website membership doesn't give access to Patreon. If you'd like to use both, you would need a separate membership on each.

Are the tutorials the same on both the website and Patreon?

All tutorials from mid-2022 onwards are available on both the website and Patreon. Patreon also includes a larger archive of older tutorials from before 2022 that aren't available on the website. New tutorials are added to both platforms at the same time.

What's the difference between the website and Patreon?

Both platforms give you access to the same tutorials, but they're laid out differently. The website works like a structured course library. Each tutorial is split into individual lessons, and your progress is tracked so you can easily pick up where you left off. Patreon works more like a content feed. Each tutorial is presented as a single post with chapters and timestamps, and can be watched either within Patreon or directly on YouTube. Neither is better, it really comes down to whichever layout suits you best. You can find a full comparison here.

I can't log in to my account

First, make sure you're using the email address you signed up with. If you've forgotten your password, click Forgot Password on the login page and follow the instructions. If you're still having trouble, please get in touch via the contact form and I'll do my best to help.

My tutorials are locked, why can't I access them?

There are a few possible reasons: You may not be logged in. Head to the login page and sign in with the email address you used to sign up. The tutorial may be on a higher tier than your current membership. Each tier includes a different set of tutorials, you can see everything available to you here. If you're logged in and on the right tier but still can't access a tutorial, please get in touch and I'll take a look at your account.

The tutorials are SO doable! They are spilt nicely into sections with an initial briefing session and then a silent real time video. I love love love them. I did an advanced one (the ice cream sundae) and was so pleased with it.
